Como extensión de ¿Hay agua en Marte? porque acá tenemos sed, esta obra se sitúa en un futuro post-colapso, donde el mito del agua persiste como huella y memoria.
La instalación inmersiva propone una escena de aparición, el momento en que el agua deja de ser ausencia y emerge como materia y posibilidad, capaz de reconfigurar lo que queda del territorio en una promesa de nuevo comienzo.
A partir de procesos fotográficos experimentales con agua de mar, lluvia y arena, se despliegan superficies que evocan rastros de una geología líquida, un mapa incierto entre lo terrestre y lo interplanetario.
La experiencia invita a habitar ese umbral entre lo que desaparece y lo que todavía puede emerger.

As an extension of Is There Water on Mars? —Because Here We Are Thirsty—, this work unfolds in a post-collapse future where the myth of water endures as trace and memory.

The immersive installation stages a moment of emergence: when water stops being absence and becomes matter and possibility, capable of reconfiguring what remains of the territory as a promise of a new beginning.

Through experimental photographic processes using seawater, rain, and sand, surfaces appear that evoke the marks of a liquid geology—an uncertain map suspended between the terrestrial and the interplanetary.

Each piece becomes a sensitive archive of transformation: a material fiction in which water, upon touching the image, stops representing and becomes presence.

The experience invites us to inhabit that threshold between what disappears and what can still emerge.
